Oxeye, a startup providing application security testing technologies, announced that its Cloud Native Application Security Testing platform has entered general availability, according to SiliconANGLE.
Oxeye enables application developers to catch critical and exploitable security issues such as code vulnerabilities, hard-coded software secrets and vulnerable third-party packages while in the software development lifecycle, and provides the application development and security teams with insight to enact proper vulnerability management."
Modern applications introduce major challenges to Application Security leaders, with prioritization, visibility and collaboration on top. The powerful solution greatly reduces security risk throughout every stage of software development and deployment, alongside providing clear visibility into the application structure and building blocks," said Oxeye co-founder and CEO Dean Agron.
The platform's features include support for cloud-native application software bill of materials, analysis of application code across microservices, multilayer and multiservice vulnerability identification and contextual risk assessment, which layers information from the container, cluster and cloud onto infrastructure configuration information to enable identification of risks based on flawed configuration, internet accessibility and sensitive data processing.
