Palo Alto launches enterprise-class cybersecurity bundle for remote workers

Palo Alto Networks has unveiled Okyo Garde, a Wi-Fi-6-powered hardware and software package that protects remote workers with enterprise-level security measures, according to Network World.

The bundle includes updated threat intelligence, malware and ransomware protection, phishing safeguards, infected device detection and monitoring and control capabilities for suspicious activities, according to the company. Users who are connected to a larger corporate network may obtain Okyo through Palo Alto's cloud-based security package, Prisma, which also offers advanced threat protection, access control and user behavior monitoring, as well as providing firewall as a service, a cloud-access security broker, zero-trust network access and a secure web gateway.

Users can control Okyo Garde through a mobile phone application, from which they can be informed of all devices connected to their home network and those that are unsecure. The app then allows users to isolate those devices, thereby segmenting their work environment from their home environment and lowering their security exposure.

Palo Alto plans to make the Okyo Garde Enterprise Edition featuring Prisma Access integration available to users in 2022.
