How to avoid being hacked like Burger King? Twitter says follow this advice

In the wake of two highly publicized Twitter profile takeovers, the social media site again is reminding users of some best practices around account stewardship.

Bob Lord, the company's director of information security, first advised users in a Tuesday blog post to employ strong passwords (at least 10 characters) that are unique from their other online accounts.

The message from Lord follows the prankster hijacks of the Twitter accounts belonging to Burger King and Jeep.
