Johanna (Jo) Baum, CEO and Founder of S3, a security consulting company focusing on IAM, eGRC, and Security Professional Services.

Jo has vast expertise in the security and compliance field and has served both industry and large consulting organizations. For the last fourteen years, she has operated as the CEO and founder of Strategic Security Solutions (S3) providing security, eGRC, and IDG services for Fortune 2000 companies.

Today it is estimated that women make up only 20% of the cybersecurity workforce. Johanna is passionately dedicated to changing that statistic. As a female in the industry, Johanna is a fierce advocate for women in cybersecurity and other male dominated fields. Through her company, S3, and her work with the women’s group “Leaders on Leadership,” Johanna creates an empowering and friendly environment to share knowledge and inspire others.

Additionally, she makes an impact on the industry by being a mentor for the Women In Technology organization, mentor to young entrepreneurs in the EOx program, and several private equity funds for entrepreneurs in the security arena.
