TheSnappening.org owner targeted in site hack

Following the breach of Snapsave.com and the subsequent posting of 98,000 Snapchat pictures on TheSnappening.org, the site is not only down but hackers have targeted its owner.

Mudit Grover launched the site, which was getting up to 5 million page views per day, as a hosting page for the stolen photos, according to Mashable.

The 19-year-old later took it down for “good intentions,” and a hacker, known as Team Danny, quickly gained control. He then used the site as a platform to release Grover's personal information, including his address, cell phone and home phone number.

Team Danny told Mashable it thought Grover was “the perfect target” and that “he deserved it.”

Grover is back in control of the site.
