IT leaders are mainly prioritizing remote and hybrid work in IT software investments for this year, while alll-in-one network and security solutions have been gaining traction among companies, TechRepublic reports, citing the results of a poll from Aryaka. “We see customers planning for a permanent hybrid enterprise. Companies know that it’s no longer business as usual, pandemic or no pandemic, they’ve changed their outlook on where employees need to be,“ said Aryaka Vice President of Product and Solutions David Ginsburg. Seventy-five percent of respondents intend to bolster cloud infrastructure and security spending, with 25% planning to allocate a quarter of their budgets to both areas this year, while 35% of respondents intend to close legacy data centers and leverage public clouds within the next year. Meanwhile, cost and complexity were named as the foremost app management concerns, while many companies are still working on overall secure access service edge approaches and goals. “We’re just at the beginning of this migration which will take place over the next five to 10 years,“ said Aryaka.
