Vade obtains $30M investment

A Series B funding round has secured $30 million for threat detection and response startup Vade Security, which will be allocating the raised investment toward strengthening its cybersecurity offerings while bolstering corporate expansion, SiliconAngle reports. Internet service providers, small- to medium-sized enterprises, and managed service providers have been able to bolster the detection of email security threats using Vade's artificial intelligence-based email threat detection and response technology that leverages multilayered and behavioral analysis with heuristic methodology. Users of the Vade for M365 flagship offering, which scans more than 100 billion emails daily and secures 1 billion mailboxes, has increased by 100% during the past 12 months. “Vade has experienced tremendous growth and with remote work becoming commonplace, even after the pandemic, cybersecurity is at the top of most companies' priority list. This latest funding round will help us realize our ambitious plans to significantly grow in markets like North America and Asia," said Vade CEO Georges Lotigier.
