Network services firm Juniper Networks has announced that its chief executive officer, Shaygan Kheradpir, has stepped down from his post after being with the company for roughly one year.
According to a Monday release by the company, Kheradpir resigned after a review of his performance by the board, in addition to his connection with “a particular negotiation” with an unnamed customer. The company's statement makes it clear that Kheradpir and the board were not on the same page “regarding these matters.”
Kheradpir's successor will be Rami Rahim, a 17-year veteran at Juniper Networks, where he was previously the executive vice president and general manager of its Development and Innovation division.
In a call with analysts, Scott Kriens, chairman at Juniper Networks, said that the change in leaderships was finalized on Sunday night, according to The New York Times.
