Former U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker’s private equity firm PSP Capital has acquired Ntiva, a major managed service provider that offers managed security services, among other IT support capabilities, for an undisclosed amount.

ChannelE2E, an SC Media partner site, was the first to break the news about the merger and acquisition by the Chicago-based firm led by the former Obama administration official.

Ntiva offers managed security services, strategic consulting, cloud solutions, unified communications and other technology services after acquiring multiple other MSPs in recent years, according to ChannelE2E, including Navaki of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Netlink Systems of New York; Forget Computers of Chicago; and Equilibrium IT Solutions of Chicago. Ntiva was founded in 2004 and has ranked among the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies in America seven times.
