Congratulations to our SC Awards finalists

It’s a big day: we officially unveiled finalists for the 2022 SC Awards.

We also introduced a number of new categories to reflect trends in technology development and also recognize the critical role that startups and investors play in ensuring the cybersecurity community stays ahead of the threats. We even shined a spotlight on offerings that supported the needs of customers amid the pandemic, as well as stellar marketing by vendors that succeeded in rising above the noise to effectively communicate messaging.

To put this in perspective, we received 800 entries in 38 categories. That is a whopping 20% increase from last year. Whether it be products, companies or executives, we saw a terrific mix of industry mainstays and new entrants – the truest reflection of a market that remains dynamic and robust.

I want to thank our panel of judges, who spent hours reviewing entries to ultimately select this years’ finalists. And I want to congratulate not only those that are being recognized, but all of those that nominated their people, companies and products. This program is about more than accolades. It is a reflection of the success and commitment demonstrated by the infosec community at large.

So what's next? In August winners be unveiled online, complemented by profiles and interviews, and editorial coverage of the trends, challenges and opportunities influencing the cybersecurity market. And we will come together in person to celebrate SC Award winners and finalists at InfoSec World in September in Orlando, Florida.

So there is much more to come. But for now, I encourage you to peruse the various categories to see who landed among the top entrants, and celebrate the innovation demonstrated by each and every one.
