A look behind the curtain at SophosLabs

In the next installment of its ongoing Ask Me Anything series, Sophos will focus on the researchers of SophosLabs. The event takes place Thursday, April 21 from 10-11 a.m. ET

“Many businesses today want protection against ransomware and cyberattacks but don’t take a deep dive into understanding the specifics of how security solutions react to the ever-changing global threat landscape,” Sophos said in an announcement for the event. “They’re surprised to discover that, behind the scenes, there's an army of humans and AI technology collecting, correlating, and analyzing data in real-time.”

James Wilson, product director for SophosLabs, will be on hand to reveal how human-led research works together with cutting-edge artificial intelligence to investigate edge cases, monitor trends, and fine-tune Sophos security products for even better protection.

As product director, he works directly with Sophos product teams to ensure the best threat intelligence and analysis for the company’s products, partners and customers via AWS Marketplace.

An experienced software engineer with a proven track record of building teams to bring new products, solutions and features to market, he has helped SophosLabs offer what the company calls “superior threat research and analysis with a suite of simple and rapid-response, RESTful APIs.”

The event will also feature a live demo to show how to access the intelligence of SophosLabs and deliver world-class threat protection and detection security to your applications.
