Rubrik's Security Cloud solution introduced

Cloud data management and protection provider Rubrik has revealed its new data observability and resilience technology, Rubrik Security Cloud, according to CRN. Rubrik Security Cloud aims to provide its users with data resiliency wherever their data resides, according to Chief Product Officer Anneka Gupta."We're looking to help customers solve enterprise resiliency issues across on-premises and the cloud," Gupta said. "We're ensuring customers can continue to keep their businesses up and running and ultimately serving their end customers."The new solution aims to protect users' data on cloud, on-premises and SaaS-based applications through several capabilities already being utilized by Rubrik, as well a few new technologies, including a Data Security Command Center, which helps customers determine whether a piece of data is safe and recoverable, a Data Observability Engine that engages in pro-active threat hunting and expanded data visibility. Gupta said the new solution also introduced threat containment capabilities, which "lets customers check if data is clean and safe to ensure that, should it need to be recovered, it is free from malware and ransomware."
