Singer John Legend took having his Twitter account hacked with a positive attitude saying that while the hacker was vulgar he was also “kinda hilarious”.
The hack occurred Feb. 24 and had one vulgar anti-Trump and one anti-Hillary Clinton tweet appearing on Legend's Twitter page, according to the New York Daily News. The site was compromised while Legend was tweeting about Trump, so the artist very quickly became aware that something had gone awry with his account.
“Someone just hacked my account,” he tweeted, and then the hacker's tweets appeared.
Legend gave a quick review of the imposter tweets, making sure to keep his tone light and treating the entire event as something quirky.
I'm back. My hacker was vulgar and kinda hilarious. I'll try to be funnier from now on so he won't feel the need to ghost write for me.
