While it's no secret that slews of websites are being compromised on a daily basis, according to Websense's “2013 Threat Report” of the unique web attacks analyzed, a majority of them were found on legitimate sites, such as social networks. However, there are ways to prevent these threats from affecting an organization, especially during the “luring” stages when the social engineering takes place.
